Finally, someone taller than me.

I finally got a table for my craft room. It has a leaf to put in to make it larger if I need it. I purchased it from a lady in Denver on Craig's list.
It was my first purchase from Craig's list and it worked out fine.
I came across a knitting booth in the Antique Market Place. This booth has lots of interesting yarns. I picked out a couple of Regia Pom Pon skeins. I thought they might make an interesting stripe held with another yarn on a bag.

I signed up to make match box doll bed swap. (on Swap-bot)
I made her last night. I believe, I am still needing to make the inside of the match box like a bed for her before I send her off.
But, I am happy with the match box home I made for her. It turned out cute. I will let you know when my partner sends something to me.

I was so excited to see that Future Girl posted the pattern for a free download on her blog. I love her bags. She does such great job embelishing them. This is my version of the Starling Handbag. I am planning to line it once I get a sturdy table in my craft room. I currently have a folding table that jiggles all over the place while sewing on it. I am in search of a table on Craig's List.
Ok, I admit I have been doing a bit of crocheting and kniting. I thought I would make a set of 10 point hot pads for a late Christmas gift for my Aunt Kathy. With the move I did not get all the gifts out before Christmas. Who wouldn't love a new set of hot pads for the kitchen?
