Well, I must say I had lots of cukes ready to pick today in the garden.
I did grow an odd variety this year. I thought I was picking out a normal grocery store variety and it turned out to be longer and thinner.
I must admit they have smaller seeds and are much nicer to eat than the normal ones.
I am so excited to find out sign ups are still going for this years Dish Rag Tag.
This is such a fun game. I will let you know when it arrives this year.

At the Greene County Fair, I found jars of apple pie filling in the canning exhibit. This has made me go on a quest to find a recipe for canning my own pie filling.
